Founded in 600 BCE by Greek sailors from Phocaea, the Old Port and its historic neighbourhoods, the Byzantine-style Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica, its sunny corniche facing the sea and its wild rocky inlets make it a city of great contrasts. Ship docked, no water sports.

Sète

Located between the Mediterranean and the Étang de Thau, famous for its oysters, Sète is also known as the "Venice of the Languedoc" because of its network of canals. Barcelone
