Our family of four spent a week at Club Med Bintan (29 Nov – 5 Dec 2025), and while the resort is beautiful, it was the people who transformed a "nice holiday" into a memory we will cherish forever.

The "CoCo" Factor: Hospitality Redefined I have to start with CoCo. She wasn’t just a host; she was our guardian angel for the week. From the moment she checked us in, she made us feel like VIPs. She curated our experience seamlessly, but two moments stood out. First, the send-off party the GO team and she organized on our last day was incredibly touching—a perfect bookend to the trip. Second, and most importantly, when I realized I had left a bag behind, CoCo didn’t just sympathize; she acted. She will coordinate the logistics to get my bag to the ferry terminal for my self-collection on the 9 Dec. That is service you simply cannot buy.

A Birthday to Remember for my young son - Traveling with young children can be stressful, but the team here made it a joy. My son Seraph turned 4 on December 3rd, and the GO team went above and beyond. It wasn't just a cake; it was a celebration. To the GOs who gathered to sing and make him the center of the universe for those few minutes—thank you. You created a core memory for a little boy (and us!).

The Dream Team: How They Made a Difference With so many names to mention, it’s hard to single everyone out, but I want to acknowledge how this massive team contributed to our happiness and experience there:

1. The Energy & Vibe Creators: To Berta, Mitch, Zippy, and Sanndy—thank you for the infectious enthusiasm. Whether it was greeting us in the morning or keeping the energy up during the shows and activities, your smiles were the fuel for our vacation.

2. The Service Stars: Ari, William, Martin, Moshe, and Dani made every interaction seamless. Whether at the bar or the restaurant, the attention to detail was spot on. You anticipated our needs before we even asked.

3. The Warmth & Welcome: Clarissa, Sheeba, Ruby, and Gus—you made us feel like we were returning home rather than visiting a hotel. Your genuine questions about our day and our family made us feel truly seen.

4. Activity & Fun Leaders: A shoutout to Zan, Wood, Fida, and Syasya. Thank you for your patience and engagement during the activities. It takes a special skill to keep guests of all ages entertained, and you nailed it.

5. The "Behind the Scenes" Heroes: To Dimas, Husen, Liz, Kimi, Melani, and Angei—thank you for the hard work that often goes unnoticed. The smoothness of our stay was a testament to your dedication.

6. The Finishing Touches: Finally, to Kelvin, Noor, Kaja, Vicky, Vishark, Anna, Azman, and Beverly. Every smile in the hallway and every helpful gesture added up to a perfect score for service.

Club Med Bintan, you have an absolute gem of a team. We will be back, and we hope to see these familiar faces again!

If you are new to Clubmed family, I highly recommend for families to check-in your kids from age 2 and above to their petite club (2-3), kids club (4-10) or teens club (11-17). Our kids age 6, 9, 11.

It’s not a childcare but a club customize for the kids to have fun so the adults can relax. Let them have fun with the GOs, the GOs will take care of them. Stay for more than 3-4 nights can create a more wholesome experience for the kids. They will learn to socialize more and be more independent. There’s no baby club or babysitter services below 2 years old so if you are bringing babies, you have to take care yourselves. This applies only to clubmed bintan for now.

My 6 year old got to trapeze, hang upside down and he told me he doesn’t want to leave the resort. My 9 year old mingled with other friends happily and always high-5 with the GOs. My 11 year old got to mingle with other teens, even though she’s the youngest there, she was telling me the friends are so supportive, taught her how to play pool etc and they even talked about PSLE (yup, so Singaporean). They got to do archery, wall climbing, trapeze etc, creating wonderful memories together, with no
parents’ presence. The kids have so much to takeaway.

The food is awesome, the night programs and the parties are great. Avoid end of the year if you are looking at sea sports activities as the the activities are closed due to monsoon season. Some of the team at welcome reception is not so smiley, but well, nothing is perfect!

We just return from our first virgin experience with Club Med Bintan. We have heard friends' praise Club Med Bintan & decided to try. Mind blown. We were highly impressed from the moment we arrived. Fr the warmth welcome, the introduction to the different programes, activities by Nanda. For our 4D3N stay there, from the food, to the night shows (fantastic cirque de soleil kind of performances), to the activities, to the childcare team (Sheeba, Princess Syasya, Fida, Dimas, Kimi, Husen, Kelvin, Angel, Zan, Melani, Liz, Wood, Gus). To the wait staff, reception, spa team, to the pool staff, archery in charge Harry and the lady at the rock climbing who played with my daughter Charis while we played badminton. The beach party and 45 vs 88 rave party was so fun! We finally understood why our friends' rave so much about Club Med Bintan. The entire club med bintan is very attentive, friendly to kids, helpful and made every effort to make it seamless for parents w many kids, inclusive and easy. Julien the GM, also showed us how wonderful a leader he is. He can dance, bring out the live of the party in a crowd. Julien definitely runs a tight ship cos the entire Club Med Bintan team is not just multi talented, hospitable, that unity in his team carried through. We experienced it first hand how proactive & intentional the entire Club Med Bintan team is. You have our hearts, Club Med Bintan and have set the standards sooo high & spoilt us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We'll be back! The only tiniest feedback I have is for the rooms to have more lights and be brighter. Thanks again!!

Club Med Bintan Island was an incredible experience. It was a very relaxed club med venue with a beautiful ocean view and nice, comfortable and clean newly renovated rooms. It was less of a party central club med, but perfect as a family friendly resort with the perfect amount of fun. The kids club and teens club staff were fantastic, especially Sheeba, Angel, Princess Syasha, Zan and Liz. The circus team was beautiful! So relaxed, kind, fun, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome- so an even bigger shoutout to Pinocchio, Beatriz, Zippy and Sanndy. They were by far the best G.Os we have met so far in all our Club Med experiences. The bar staff were extra friendly, and we made good friends with Ruby and Walter and stayed in touch with many of the G.Os after our departure. It is definitely a Club Med that showed the vibe of having fun and feeling included, and even if you want a relaxed club med venue but still want to stay up late and party, it is the perfect place for you. It is also a resort worth going back to, and the Chief of Village (Julien or ‘Mr French Fries’) is a very family- based chief and was perfect for what we wanted. He didn’t need the centre of attention and was fantastic. My personal favourite Chief so far. The only downside of the visit was that at our departure, we were very pressured to write a Google review for them. It was okay at first, but when they handed out pieces of paper with QR codes for reviews, it went a bit far, and other G.Os actually reached out to us after our stay and asked us to write more reviews. Overall, Club Med Bintan is a fantastic resort and a must-visit on the list of Club Meds. Another huge thank you to the Circus, Bar and Kids Club teams, who made us feel all the more welcome and at home during our stay 🤩

Angel (Teens Club) – Super encouraging and patient. She convinced my shy teenagers to join them. If not for her, this trip might not have turned out the way it did! Beyond my expectations!
Kawi (Archery) – Taught me a lot, especially making sure I stabilized my left hand.
Harry (Float Fit & later Archery) – Very approachable and friendly. His playfulness and engagement made me feel very welcome.
Beverly (Aerial Yoga) – Professional, with clear and good instructions. She even helped us take photos!
Circus Team – Kudos to the whole team. They are all extremely encouraging, safety-first, and firm (which is great). They also provided feedback and explanations.
Pinocchio was super patient—a gentle giant who advised and gave tips to correct my form, keeping my legs together during the jump and while trying to hook them onto the pole. I asked him tons of questions, which he patiently explained.
Zippy gave instructions like an army officer initially—loud, clear, firm, and strict—because I didn’t fall when asked the first time. I had to force myself to do it on the second try! Later, I found out he was really from the army!
Sandy also explained why we need to fall at the correct time and helped stretch my calf muscles as they were very sore.
Without Beatriz’s encouragement, I wouldn’t have tried for the third time and gotten the sequence and form in place. She kept explaining why I needed to keep my arms straight for safety.
Chef – Best Char Kway Teow with lots of wok hei. He even helped me stir-fry a plate of vegetables when I couldn’t find any cooked ones.
Dani and her team of bartenders were all so attentive and rocked at making cocktails while swaying to the music. Her well-trained staff knew I was hungry as I sat writing this at the main bar and even offered me cookies, advising me where to grab food immediately or to wait till snack time at the bar.
Housekeeping and front desk staff – All very well trained and made us feel very welcome.in
