Kani MALDIVES

We had a truly wonderful stay at Club Med Kani, Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and memorable, beginning with the smooth private boat transfer from Malé Airport to the resort.

We were warmly welcomed by Isla and Fenny, who introduced us to the Club Med experience and helped us settle in comfortably. The Club Med app was also an excellent tool for planning and making the most of the activities available throughout our stay.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Beverly, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Despite being newly onboarded, she was attentive, approachable, and always willing to assist. She ensured all our questions were addressed, and whenever she was unsure, she proactively sought guidance from her senior colleagues and promptly followed up with us. Her dedication and genuine care significantly enhanced our experience. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Special thanks also to Palitha, the Bar Manager, and Kim, the Mixologist. Palitha played a key role in organising my brother's beachfront birthday celebration, together with Beverly, making it a truly memorable occasion. He also arranged a sunset dolphin cruise for us, which became one of the highlights of our trip. Watching dolphins in their natural habitat against the backdrop of a beautiful Maldivian sunset was an unforgettable experience. Kim's craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every drink he prepared, with his signature cocktail being a particular highlight.

We would also like to acknowledge Morita, Fenny, and the sailing instructors for their hospitality and professionalism. The sailing team provided excellent guidance and introduced us to a new activity that became one of the highlights of our trip. Their patience and expertise helped us understand the fundamentals of sailing, and we thoroughly enjoyed every session.

We were also fortunate to enjoy excellent weather throughout our stay. Despite reports of storms and unpredictable conditions before our arrival, we were blessed with clear skies, sunshine, refreshing winds, and ideal conditions for outdoor activities throughout our holiday.

There were only two minor areas for improvement: the delay in receiving a toothbrush despite multiple requests, and the relatively high cost of certain services and items not included in the package.

Overall, our experience at Club Med Kani exceeded expectations. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality demonstrated by the team made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The personal farewell upon our departure was a thoughtful touch and a fitting conclusion to an exceptional holiday.

We left with wonderful memories, a happy heart, and a strong desire to explore other Club Med destinations in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Club Med Kani for an unforgettable experience.

From the very first moment we arrived on Kani Island, it was clear that this was going to be something truly special — and that impression only deepened with every passing day, largely thanks to the incredible GO team. Warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about making every guest feel welcome, they set the tone for the entire stay. What struck us most was how naturally they remembered our names, our preferences, and even the little things we'd mentioned in passing. This wasn't a performance — it was authentic hospitality at its very best.

The sheer variety of activities on offer is staggering — there truly is something for everyone, regardless of age or energy level. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element: we tried snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, all perfectly organised and led by knowledgeable GOs who made even beginners feel safe and confident. On land, the fitness classes, beach volleyball, padel and evening entertainment kept the atmosphere buzzing from morning to night. The GOs running these sessions brought such infectious energy that even the most reluctant guests found themselves joining in and laughing by the end. Every activity felt carefully thought through, well-staffed, and genuinely fun.

The opportunity to do an introduction to scuba diving was eagerly taken by both our kids - needless to say introducing them to scuba diving in the Maldives has got them hooked and they are now both looking forward to getting certified and starting their underwater adventures! The team at Euro Divers, was very professional and we felt very safe in leaving our kids in their very capable hands.

The bar and restaurant teams deserve a very special mention. Every meal felt like an occasion — beautifully presented, endlessly varied, and always delicious. The buffet spread was extraordinary, with fresh options that changed throughout the day, catering effortlessly to different tastes and dietary needs. But what truly elevated the dining experience was the staff themselves. Attentive without being intrusive, they were always on hand with a genuine smile, a helpful suggestion, or simply a friendly word. At the bar, the team crafted wonderful cocktails and had this wonderful ability to make you feel like a regular from day one. If you have the chance the lobster dinner at the Secret Garden is well worth splashing out for.

Club Med Kani is the kind of place that stays with you long after you've left. It's beautiful, yes — but it's the exceptional people who make it unforgettable. We will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommended 5 stars.

I am a Club Med tragic, and this was a long way to go from Sydney, Australia but I'd do it again. Food Amazing, Entertainment acts on the beach of an evening, very good, Relaxation the Best. GO staff as always friendly.

We have just returned from eight nights at Club Med Kani, and we are already planning our return. The island itself is picturesque — everything you imagine the Maldives to look like — but what truly stands out is the staff. From the moment we arrived and were personally greeted by Ayoub and Morita from the guest services team, our experience was exemplary. Every staff member, from the wait staff to the housekeeping team, greeted us with a smile and a “hello” every single day. We had the best time chatting with the team and getting to know people from all the different nationalities represented on this small island. And if you’re looking for things to do, there are so many activities that you won’t have enough time in your holiday to do them all. We had the best time with the snorkelling team and really enjoyed the shows put on by the staff. The food is also exceptional. As vegetarians, we have often found it difficult to eat well on islands where fish and seafood dominate, but the kitchen staff went out of their way to create amazing meals multiple times a day. In the nine days we were there, we didn’t repeat a meal once. An extraordinary achievement. A special shoutout has to go to the restaurant team, especially Hamza and Sumon, who looked after us each day with such kindness and authenticity. We experienced a death in our family during our stay, and I was noticeably upset at dinner. Instead of shying away from a potentially awkward conversation, Hamza reached out with curiosity and compassion to see if I was okay, because he had noticed that I was more subdued than usual. When I told him what had happened, in tears, he shared a similar experience he had been through to show me that he understood my pain. I felt so seen and understood in that moment. It offered a lot of comfort during a difficult time, and I will always be grateful for the kindness Hamza showed us. The senior team were always close by, chatting with guests, and it really made it feel like we were seeing friends every day. Thank you, Club Med Kani, for your exceptional service.

my first trip to Maldives and the arrangements are excellent with transfer from airport, meeting up with GO members at airport after they back to resort for their rest day. friendly and getting lots of info about resort and activities. special thanks to Nando, Koko, Anjas, Mintu, Mojibor and Wayne to treat us like friends. Also, from back-office Malaysian, Rae and Gibert to greet us during lunch and dinner time.
