Vaccinations and preventive treatments... It is your responsibility to check the necessary formalities before leaving for your holiday.
Vaccinations recommended: Diphteria Polio Tetanus Hepatitis A and B Typhoid Yellow fever (this vaccination is mandatory if you arrive in China from an area where yellow fever is endemic).
Meningitis A & C is recommended for regions closed to Mongolia. Rabies and japanese encephalitus.
Mosquitos can transmit certain viruses and parasitic diseases, so you are strongly advised to use tropical mosquito repellents for skin and clothing.
Risk of the most dangerous form of malaria (falciparum) means that serious prevention is necessary (chemoprophylaxis and mosquito repellents).
As a preventive measure against bird flu, we recommend you avoid visting bird markets and zoos. Tap water in China is not drinking water; we recommend you drink mineral water.
