Great resort for families. My 15/16 year old sons made lots of new friends and had a great time. This resort caters to families with kids of all ages. Bring your baby, drop them off at the baby club and take a break on the beach. Rooms were impeccably clean, buffet food was good, service was also good. Now, as a single dad this club had very little to offer me. I love water sports and I was looking forward to sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkeling. Unfortunately, all of these activities were closed all week. Even on the days with calm seas the faded tattered red flags remained as if they are permanent. The GO team seems good for what GO’s have become. Gone are the days when the objective of all the GO was to make sure everyone has the best vacation. They are not as socially oriented as they were in the past. I’m not into pickle ball but they have a great pickleball program. So other than my morning workouts this was a pretty boring and sad vacation, luckily my boys had a great time. That’s why my review is 4 stars instead of less.

Just returned from our second stay. First time was at Aguamarina, second time was at Jade, both times with kids (the first time the kids were 9 and 11, this second time 11 and 13). Loved: the service, the spa, the activities (major shout out to Magali's morning advanced yoga class and sunset yoga class; she's fantastic), the little Club Med extras like the beach parties and festive moments, and the teen club. Only slightly off note was the rooms at Jade, which were nice but definitely were showing their age (some rust, chipped paint, etc.). A great overall experience--the most relaxed I've been in a long time.

Can't recommend Chava at the tween club any more highly. He was incredible and really made it special for the kids.

We were in the Jade rooms, and the room was fairly dingy, including some mold in the bathroom and a lot of dirt behind all the sliding doors in the room.

The staff is really incredible and went above and beyond.

Don't eat at La Estancia. It took more than an hour to get entrees (in what seemed to be a half-full restaurant) and the food was barely edible. Stick to the buffet, which is lovely.

Chef Carlos Irad was the highlight of our stay! We had a really good experience with all the cooking classes activities and the food was the best we’ve ever had on vacation! From learning guacamole to discovering local products we went through a savoring journey we’ll never forget. Well done Chef !
