La Plantation d'Albion Club Med Mauritius

My first time at Club Med and in Mauritius and what an unforgettable experience at Club Med Albion! My kids husband and I had an amazing holiday, enjoying all the activities in such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Big shoutout to Mocine for the warm welcome and for keeping the nights alive with great entertainment and dancing. Much respect as well to sam , his dancers, and the whole team for their energy and talent.

The Zen Pool and the spa quickly became my favorite spots — pure relaxation! We’ll definitely be back, next time with the rest of the family.

Stayed there for 10 nights. The GOs were very friendly and the resort has many different activities for everyone. Did not have any problems with any of the facilities in the room nor with any of the activities.

The staff for the circus (trapeze), diving and watersports are all very approachable and friendly and they always made sure that we were safe and comfortable, and taught us/showed us patiently how to do something if we did not know how.

I want to mention: Vichy, Olivier, Nitish, Rachel, Ethan, Andy, Opik, Sven, Ousmane, Dolan, Krishna, Matthew, Gael, David, Greg, Sympa, Clementine and Bhavish especially for for making our stay more enjoyable and for always being friendly and warm.

I recently got back from a stay at Club Med La Plantation d’Albion and it completely blew me away.

The food was incredible. Fresh, full of flavour, and with so much variety every day. I actually found myself gasping at how good some of the dishes were. The included cocktails were another highlight with a great selection and really good quality.

The beach is absolutely beautiful and the resort has this perfect mix of calm and activity. If you want to relax you can, but if you are feeling adventurous there is always something going on.

The rooms were spacious and really comfortable, the bed was amazing! The resort is easy to get around and there are golf buggies running through the day which makes everything so convenient.

The staff were amazing. Every person I spoke to was friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely. The service was excellent the entire time.

There was entertainment every night whether it was live music, a show, a DJ or dancing. It made every evening feel like a celebration.

Snorkeling was a real highlight. I got to stroke a pufferfish and saw fish I had never seen before. It was such a special experience.

And the Zen Pool. Wow. There is no beach right in front of it but the pool looks out over the ocean and the view is unbelievable. It feels like you are floating above the sea. So peaceful and so beautiful.

I loved every second of my time here and I will absolutely be back.

We spent four days at Club Med Albion in early July. As experienced G.M.s, we can say this is a 5 Tridents resort for sure. The property is spacious, with lots of greenery and a beautiful beach, perfect for watching the sunset. Our room was large and very comfortable. While the resort could use a bit of attention to detail/renovation here and there, it was still clean and neat.

T food was definitely tasty. The buffet offered an amazing variety each day, with cuisines from all over the world: Italian, Asian, Mauritian; something for everyone. The specialty restaurant was excellent too, with great service and high-quality dishes.

The staff stood out for their friendliness and positive attitude. Since the resort wasn’t fully booked, there was plenty of personal attention, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We made full use of the sports activities. The circus team (Coco, Opik, Jos and Ami) were fantastic, creating a fun and challenging experience. We also enjoyed archery with Gregory, who made sure our skills hit the next level! Or at least the hay bale. We also did padel, tennis, yoga, snorkelling. Big compliments to the entire sports team for their dedication and great energy.

And then the evenings… The GO team made every night a celebration. There was always a great vibe on the dance floor, so much fun with all of them, the Mauritian music and such a vibrant atmosphere.

All in all, as a social butterfly, I had four wonderful days in paradise! Hope to be back for sure.
