Amazing Experience
I went with my family to the Club Med Val d’Isère in the winter and we had an amazing experience. The teachers Olivier (3B), Jean Luc (Bronze), Dominique (2B), Bertran (3 Teen) were all super helpful and we all improved a lot throughout the week. Pedro, Manon, Disney and Thomas from the Mini Club kept our little one always entertained and happy, Thimoteo from sound and illumination kept us excited all the time. Marina from reception made us fell really welcomed when we arrived. Maria Eduarda from the bar, Pape, Kais and Calogero from the restaurant were always so helpful. Overall a beautiful experience and we absolutely loved it.

Wonderful experience at Club Med Val d’Isere
Just had the most wonderful week at Club Med Val d’Isere. Our four kids had the most fantastic experience skiing these challenging but amazing Alps — as well as all the fun and entertainment of Club Med in the afternoons and evenings. Having the ski lessons included provides peace of mind that the kids are looked after exploring a new mountain while fine tuning their skiing skills. The kids club activities and pool were a hit also and our older kids enjoyed the teens room. The food was exceptional and we loved the aperitif time in the bar, very well done! The day spa was also fantastic after a day’s skiing. The Club Med holiday gives families an opportunity to meet other families which adds to the whole fun experience. We’d like to make mention of Oat on the front desk who was outstanding, Carmen in housekeeping, the ladies in the spa, and Calogero & Kais in the dining room, Christian behind the bar and all the entertainment and kids club staff. Thankyou to GM Barq for your warm welcome and hospitality. We love the Club Med experience and can’t wait to return! With thanks McDonnell Family

6 day ski trip with family and friends
Hello,
Overall I had a great time with my family and friends. The food was good and the service was excellent. Especially Vincent and Manon made out stay memorable in the best way possible! Emma’s yoga classes and positive energy was an amazing highlight too.

Great First All Inclusive Ski Holiday - We'll be back!
This was our first ever AI ski holiday after having only done self-catering type accommodation before. We have done AI in the Caribbean with another brand so had that to compare it to as well.
In summary, we had a great week skiing and are already planning to book again for next year. Our room was perfect, staff a lot friendlier than expected and food was great considering it was basically a fancy buffet. We really liked all the included wines and drinks too.
There were only a few things were we think this resort could improved.
Firstly this would be housekeeping. The times they came weren't very consistent during our stay and we would have appreciated if there was a way of saying we'd prefer for them to come in the morning for example. There was no turndown service either which you'd maybe expect from a resort of this level.
Secondly, Club Med transportation from Geneva to resort was a bit shambolic to say the least! We got no information prior to tell us where to go in arrivals so after about 10 minutes we finally found the club med desk (this is coming from someone who has flown into Geneva multiple times before). We were then told to wait by the Jazz Cafe but were given no information on when our transfer would be only that someone would come and get us. Time passed and no one and came and got us so we went back to the desk and the lady we had previously talked to said that actually, we are getting a taxi and need to wait out. Went outside and waited, and still no one came for us. Worried we'd maybe miss our transfer as there was no one else outside we went back to the desk for a third time to talk to someone else that informed us that we were waiting on 4 more people and then we'd leave in the taxi. FINALLY after over an hour and a half of waiting and about 2.5hrs after we had landed we got in the taxi and left. Journey itself was great in the van and we had a very warm welcome at resort. In the future, they should have a better system of emailing guests in advance with their transfer details. I.e. where to go, what kind of transfer they are getting (bus/van/taxi), a transfer number and an estimated departure time. This would create to much more reassurance and allow guests to go and get something to eat if they land well before their transfer time like we did. We had been up since 3am and were starving!
Transport was more organised on the return but we had to go to the desk to ask when it was. In other AI resorts a letter is left the day or two before in our room to tell us when our check-out is and when our transfer will be leaving. This could have been sent by email too or appeared in our app.
Lastly, we really would have appreciated an adults only, quiet seating area. There was the Les Millésimes Bar but it was dark and not great if you say just wanted to quiet hot chocolate/coffee and/or read a book. It was not school holidays when we went but kids were allowed to run around the Le Refuge area screaming. It didn't help that the game tables and machines were in this area either. It would be better if they were moved to nearer the stage area to keep this as a quieter area for guests.
