Awesome Matthew and Agata
There’s awesome Matthew. He is do kind and is always waiting to welcome new kids into the teens club. He made me feel really welcome.
I just finished a course with Agata and I'm still laughing! She is not only a master of her craft, but also a comedy superstar.
She took us through the course like a stand-up comedian. Every explanation was a joke, every demonstration a comedy sketch. I had so much fun that I almost forgot I was supposed to be learning!
But seriously, Agata is an amazing instructor. She explains complex topics in a way that's easy for anyone to understand. And she makes it so much fun that you don't even realize you're learning!
If you're looking for an instructor who's not only knowledgeable but also hilarious, then Matthew and Agata is your best bet!

A passage of Matthew
Matthew is my glorious sunshine. He allowed me to flower like the great rose that he showed me to be. I wouldn’t be who I am today without my glorious King Matthew. If he wasn’t taken by the receptionist, I would totally take his hand in marriage. I love you Matthew, come see me in Australia xx

Did not disappoint
We’ve been to several club meds as a family of 5 but this was our first in Japan. Our experience did not disappoint. Compared to great experiences at club meds in France (Tignes, Val D’isere etc.) here’s our honest feedback about Tomamu:
Service was exceptional. From the big chief (Zack) to the restaurant manager (Vishy) to Sarah at the front desk who made sure we had every need catered to, and Matthew who ran the youth program and made sure our teens had an amazing time. Food was incredible. Better than French locations (which were great). But I’d say Tignes had a slight edge up in the dessert category (hard to beat French pastries). Rooms and Facilities were spacious, comfortable, beautiful views. Evening programs were great. Skiing proximity to lifts, lockers etc was great. Tomamu gets great snow, weather was fine and we enjoyed skiing all 6 days. Tomamu ski slope options however are limited (compared to Alps) and on the shorter side, but not too crowded and the wait time for lifts was decent. Slope selection was well suited for kids and family (mostly blues and greens, few blacks). Only area for improvement is the group ski lessons. For kids and youth it was fine. For adults, we felt that the classes were often over subscribed (they allow up to 12 students in a class) and had new instructors each day compared to say the French club meds where you had the same instructor for the week. This wasn’t the instructors fault, who all seemed competent and tried their best. But the Tomamu club med has guests arriving and departing every day (vs in France and where everyone arrives on Sat and stay 7 days). So this shuffling creates a logistics challenge for group classes. Still would have been good to have the same instructor if even for a few days so they can help you better. Nonetheless we had an amazing time and were super grateful for all the staff who made it happen.

Amazing!
I had an amazing stay at this hotel, and a big part of what made it so memorable was the exceptional service and care provided by Mathew, who ran the Teen Club. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel staff was dedicated to creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience, but Mathew really stood out. He made sure every teen felt included and engaged in the activities, going above and beyond to make sure they had fun while also creating a safe and respectful environment.

Matthew is the best
Daniel and Mads are the best ski instructors- they were very kind and knew how to do the right amount of drills vs ski time, I loved Matthew in teens club. The rooms were so big and airy as well as having a wonderful view of the snow capped trees and the mountains in the distance
