Nice staff, amazing food, good pool and great skiing facilities

We had a wonderful stay at Club Med Tomamu and truly enjoyed every moment.

A special thank you to Ivo, the restaurant manager, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. He made us feel very welcome and even came to see us off when we left, which was such a warm and thoughtful gesture.

We are also very grateful to the Club Med team for helping us celebrate my husband’s birthday. It made the trip even more memorable for our family.

The room was comfortable, the food was excellent, and the hospitality from all the staff was outstanding. The nightly shows were entertaining, and the entire resort is very beautiful.

This resort is also extremely kid-friendly, which made it perfect for our family. Our child had a great time, and we really appreciated how family-oriented the environment was.

The ski instructors were friendly, professional, and experienced, which made learning and skiing much more enjoyable. We also had so much fun playing in the snow and experiencing all the winter activities.

Overall, it was a fantastic holiday filled with great memories. Thank you Club Med Tomamu for such an amazing experience!

Just home from 6 nights at Tomamu. 2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 10.
We had a wonderful time the highlights were:

• Wonderful food, pleasantly surprised by the quality and the variety of options available. Drinks were good to, the rose wine and aperol spritz's were enjoyed a lot!
• Mini club was really well organised and so helpful at getting the kids ready for skiing and snowboarding
• The kids loved that the bar had a kids ordering section, and we loved how independent they could be. The shaved ice was a massive hit with our 6 year old.
• The shows were a huge hit with our kids, kept them busy and entertained every night.
• The wave pool and hot tubs were such a lifesaver every afternoon after being very tired and sore from the snowboarding
• The family room set up was great, each kid had their own bed
  Where it could have been better:
• My husband and I did snowboarding and the beginner lessons were way too crowded. One day they had 80 beginners, people were running into each other, and the instructors were getting angry and frustrated. I have an epic bruise from being run into at full speed.
  When we did graduate to SB1 we had over 20 people with us which made for really long waits to get everyone up the chair lift, then when we did try and snowboard down everyone was tripping over each other.
  After reading all the reviews we chose this property due to how well reviewed the instructors were, but this was not our experience in the group lessons. I think mostly due to frustration at the crowds. We did have a private lesson with Chris and it was an incredible experience, he was encouraging and helpful. But do be mindful that these are $550 AUD each. My son also had a private ski lesson with Ella and he loved that she was lovely with him.

We had a wonderful stay at Club Med Tomamu — this was our third visit and it was just as special as the first. Our 8-year-old loved the mini club and had an amazing time; the instructors made everything fun and encouraging. Our child’s ski instructor was excellent — patient, enthusiastic, and helped my kid really enjoy the ski experience.

My husband and I were first-time skiers and took the 4-day group lessons. We met several coaches from different countries and appreciated their varied teaching styles. A special thank-you to ski coach Chris D — gentle, passionate, and incredibly patient. I had a fantastic time learning with him. Thank you to the whole team for making our family holiday so memorable.

Our stay at Club Med Tomamu was truly an unforgettable winter experience!

The snow slopes were absolutely fantastic. The powder snow was soft, well-groomed, and perfect for both beginners and more experienced skiers. The ski-in, ski-out convenience made everything so seamless — stepping straight from the resort onto the slopes each morning was such a luxury. The variety of runs ensured that every day felt exciting and never repetitive.

What truly made the trip exceptional was the warm hospitality. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. From the reception team to the restaurant staff, everyone made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. The all-inclusive experience was smooth and thoughtfully organized, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our holiday without worrying about logistics.

A very special thank you to ski instructors Skye and Chris D. Their professionalism, patience, and encouragement made a huge difference in our skiing journey. They provided clear guidance, boosted our confidence, and most importantly, made every lesson fun and enjoyable. Thanks to them, we improved so much and felt safe and supported on the slopes.

Club Med Tomamu is truly a wonderful destination for a winter getaway. We left with amazing memories, improved ski skills, and hearts full of gratitude. We would definitely love to return again!
