Cancún Exclusive Space Mexico

We spent 7-days at ClubMed Cancun, and as always, the employees outdid themselves to make our stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had a poor upstairs neighbor at first, but the Club did not hesitate to move us to a different room once we told them of our misfortune. Our new location was excellent, and was on the top so no one above.

Here are some of the G.O.s and employees that were outstanding, granted this list could have been 10x larger (apologies if I misspelled a name):
Livan & Deivy at reception took excellent care of us
Jack Power & Allan ensured that we got our workout on during aquagym
Margot & Klara kept our arrows flying straight at archery
Pablo kept us safe at the snorkel shack
Amelie & Erin kept us company during dinner
Maria & Alberto provided excellent service during meals
Luis at The Soluna bar ensured we did not go thirsty

This was our 3rd time here, and overall, we had a good time. We have upgraded to a deluxe room, which was great, the view of the ocean in the morning is always a treat. Unfortunately, sargassum appeared mid-week, and it was painful to see all the workers battling an impossible task. Last two days we could not stay on the beach due to the smell. Not Club med's fault though. The new chef de village is great, we have seen him last year at Miches. The food was so and so, the French baguettes are not the same anymore, no variety of cheese (as we have seen years prior), and maybe due to the low occupancy, the energy level was a bit subdued. Maybe add more crazy signs at night? I also tried Zumba couple of times, no takers, and only once I caught the Latin dance session in the afternoon, which lasted 10 min.

Main pool area remodel is fantastic, only issue is the addition of the new brick walls tend to retain heat. The new coffee bar along with seating area works out great for activities. Hopefully renovations will be completed soon.
