Best guide for hiking tour Cathie

The accommodation was very friendly and convenient. I met people from different countries and learned about different cultures. My favorite hiking instructor was Cathie. Her professional guidance, careful attention to each customer's physical condition, and introductions to the geographical landscape allowed us to learn a lot about the area. She also reminded everyone hiking in the mountains that we should truly cherish nature. The most thoughtful thing was that she brought a large pot of hot coffee and a large kettle of hot water for everyone to enjoy after the picnic. It was a tiring but enjoyable day.

This was our third trip to Club Med Val d’Isère and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The staff are a big part of what makes the experience so enjoyable – always friendly and upbeat. A special shoutout to Calogero at the café – he was great company, who was always so cheery in the mornings, always up for a chat in Italian while I grabbed my coffee. Aurora also brought such joy to breakfast time, always cheerful as I grabbed my usual eggs to fuel up before heading out for some off-piste skiing.
It was great to connect with Calogero who prepared the pizzas, sharing our passion for cooking and I mentioned I’d made focaccia last year. Little moments like this added a personal touch that made the experience feel extra special.
The buffet had plenty of variety and the general vibe was really positive – it definitely helped set the tone for the day.
At lunch, I always looked forward to the steak. It was cooked perfectly each time, and I appreciated the team at the terrace BBQ, especially when they stayed a bit later to finish off my steak just how I liked it. Eating with that stunning mountain view is incredible.

Thank you to everyone at Club Med Val d’Isère for making our stay so enjoyable. Your cheerful demeanour keeps us coming back year after year. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent Holiday

Had a fabulous week with Club Med Val d’Isere in March 2025. Every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations. Great value - when you factor in a very good transfer from the airport, the quality of food and drink, lift pass, ski instruction and entertainment. My ESF ski instructor Clement Troubat, was good humoured, and perfectly gauged the ski level of my group. Barq the resort manager, and his team, were fantastic throughout. I hope very much to repeat the experience next year.
