Punta Cana Exclusive Space Dominican Republic

Let me start by saying we keep coming back to Club Med Punta Cana because we absolutely love it. This was our 10th year here! Over the past decade, we’ve made friends from all over the world, staying in touch throughout the year and even coordinating our vacation weeks so we can visit together.

While we will definitely be back, there are a few operational areas that desperately need attention:

Arrival & Check-In Issues

Pre-Check-In Glitch: Every year, I receive an email to "pre-check in" and link a credit card to open our resort account. Every year, without fail, the system fails upon arrival, and I am sent back to the front desk to re-open the account manually.

Room Assignments: For the past 4 years I book a Zen room for my husband and me, and a Family Deluxe room for son and daughter (now 20-year-old twins). Given the open-concept floor plan of the Zen rooms (open bed/bathroom and shower), they are clearly designed for couples—not adult siblings. Despite calling customer support months in advance for the past few years to confirm the desired configuration, this year the front desk "upgraded" my kids into a Zen room right next to us. When we pointed out why that wouldn't work, they relocated the kids to the furthest building on the opposite side of the resort.

The pre-arrival/arrival process needs some love and attention to match the rest of the resort's high standards.

Communication, Dining & Bars

Communication: The Club Med app, GO team announcements, and WhatsApp updates are stellar. We always knew what was happening around the village.

Dining & Ambience: The newly redesigned main restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! While it’s a shame it took a literl fire to trigger the rebuild, the update is incredible, and the food remains consistently great. The upgraded bar area with abundant seating is another fantastic improvement.

Bar Service & Beer Selection: One noticeable downside at the bar is the included beer selection. The only complimentary option is "Presidente", which is served not really cold and simply isn't great quality. While there are paid upgrade options, having to pay extra for a decent, cold beer feels counterintuitive at an all-inclusive resort.

Shout-Outs & Special Thanks

Miguel (Chef de Sport): Always makes us feel so included and warmly welcomed.

Ramon & Jermaine (Tennis GOs): Consistently solid and foundational at the tennis club!! Our family looks forward to playing with them every single year.

Hector (La Cava): Not a GO, but he takes exceptional care of our family table every time. We are so thankful for him!

Bouchra (The Spa): I booked a 50-minute deep tissue massage, and this wonderful lady has magic hands!

Despite the front-desk hiccup and the warm beer, we love our Club Med family and are already looking forward to our next visit!

About Jorge : First time playing Golf, had the best tutor. Really kind and had a great time. No stress, no pressure, just take pleasure in the sports. Super expérience.

We had such a fabulous vacation at Punta Cana in November of 2025---highlighted by our stay at Tiera in the Exclusive Collection---that we decided to return in July. The experience this year might have been even better! Once you enter Tiera through its doors, it’s a magical feeling. All your cares and stress melt away, thanks, primarily, to Cristelle the manager, her assistant Bryan, and all the other employees with smiles on their faces and service in their hearts. It’s the ultimate chillout scene. They will even deliver food and drinks to you while you vegetate in the infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean. The Monday cocktail party is great, with Cristelle highlighting the entertainment.

We visited Club Med for a week in July 2026 as a family with a baby and a 2.5 year old. We booked to stay in the Exclusive section which was definitely worth it - the team communicated well over a what’s app chat, access to a golf cart to get us around (if we were adults or had older kids the distances are very manageable to walk but now with very young kids), private pool, snacks and bar amenities.

Our cottage was great. Comfortable, spacious, AC worked really well, nice view, no complaints. Our son asks to go back regularly to the “orange house”.

Food - breakfast was a busy venue but they offered everything like omelette, fruit, pancakes, crepes, local fare, the quality was standard.

We struggled a bit with lunch outside of the exclusive section - but the options are the water park where we spent most mornings were either not great or not available (even though it was already limited).

Dinners were always very very good at El Mundo and at Indigo Beach. Didn’t love Hispania for dinner. The wine room was beautiful with so many options, we enjoyed a bottle or two every evening (additional cost).

The coffee shop was very underwhelming unfortunately.

The best part of the offerings are the water park and pools which the kids LOVED. No complaints here but don’t expect waiter service around the shared pools and water park.

Kids club has a lot to offer, our kids felt a bit young for us to leave but they do have care for all ages and lots of activities. Our son took part in the water park day and loved it.

The playground at the kids club is great.

There is a doctor on site which we needed once and we experienced wonderful care.

Drivers were so friendly and amazing!

Overall We would revisit in the future again.

We had exceptional care from the concierge team Cristel, Bryan, Marshall, Hiba, Maeva, Yves Junior and Thibaut as well as the bar team Tito, Maria, Yeison and Rosibelle.

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at Club Med Punta Cana. The resort never disappoints, and the warm welcome we receive at the Tiara is always the perfect start to an unforgettable vacation.
Everyone throughout the resort is friendly, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming, but I would like to extend a few special thanks.
First, to Youssef at the restaurant, whose kindness and attentiveness never went unnoticed. We could always count on him to find us a wonderful table and make every meal even more enjoyable.
I would also like to thank Raja from Guest Relations. Her warm personality, genuine friendliness, and willingness to help made our stay all the more pleasant.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the tennis classes under the watchful eye Ramon. He is an excellent instructor who strikes the perfect balance between helping players improve their game and ensuring everyone has fun. I always looked forward to his entertaining stories from his tennis days, which made every lesson even more enjoyable.
It was also a real pleasure to see Christelle again. She is the discreet yet remarkably effective manager of the Tiara. Over the years, she has become something of a friend, and I am always delighted to see her. The Tiara is a truly exceptional space, and she runs it with remarkable efficiency and grace.
Finally, I would like to thank Abdel, the Chef de Village, whose leadership and visible presence make the entire experience feel warm, personal, and memorable. His dedication is reflected throughout the resort and contributes greatly to the welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back.
