La Plantation d'Albion Club Med Mauritius

From the moment I arrived at Club Med Albion — my first time in Mauritius and my first experience at a Club Med resort — I knew I was in for something special. What stood out most was not only the beautiful location, but the people. 🫶🏻

Every member of staff I encountered was warm, friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed to care about making my family’s stay special. It is that genuine hospitality that made such a lasting impression on me.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The setting is spectacular, with the ocean, tropical gardens and incredible sunsets creating the perfect island atmosphere. 🌴 There is always something to do if you want to be active, but equally, there are plenty of peaceful spaces where you can simply slow down, relax and enjoy the beauty of Mauritius.

The food was fantastic, with plenty of variety, and the overall quality and service throughout the resort were excellent. Everything felt effortless — exactly what you want from an all-inclusive holiday.

But what will stay with me most are the little moments: the smiles, the laughter, the incredible entertainment, the beautiful surroundings and, most importantly, the way the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed rather than simply being another GM/guest.

A very special thank you to Zoey — for spotting me in my Springbok rugby jersey on my second day, just before the match against New Zealand 🇿🇦🏉🇳🇿 — as well as Walter, Enzo, Emily, Priteesha, Vichy, DJ Byrone, Toga, Diana and Thomas, and the entire Club Med Albion team. 🙏🏻🫶🏻

Each of you contributed in your own way to making our holiday so memorable. These are the people and moments that turn a holiday into an experience.

You created an experience that I will talk about for a very long time. ❤️

Club Med Albion is more than just a beautiful resort — it is the people, the atmosphere and the feeling you leave with that make it truly special.

Mauritius has definitely left a little piece of its heart with me. 🇲🇺🌴☀️

A little constructive feedback:

As much as I loved my stay, I do feel there are a few areas where the resort could improve.

The beds and mattresses definitely need some attention, and the pillows could also do with being replaced. We also noticed a foul smell coming from the cupboard drawers, which we initially tried to resolve ourselves by airing them out, before reporting it to the team after about a week.

The replenishment of basic room amenities was another noticeable issue. We often had to ask repeatedly for essentials to be refilled, including bottled water, coffee-station supplies, items for the fridge, toilet paper and vanity items. For a resort of this standard, I would expect these basics to be checked and replenished routinely, without guests having to request them repeatedly.

I also feel that the general maintenance of some facilities could receive more attention. None of these issues ruined our holiday, but addressing them would make an already wonderful resort experience even better.

Overall, my first Club Med experience was incredibly special. I left Albion with wonderful memories, a deep appreciation for the people who looked after us and a definite desire to return. ❤️🇲🇺

My partner and I went to Albion ClubMed and we had the most amazing special time!!

It was our first time staying at ClubMed and OMG they know how to host an unforgettable holiday!!

From random dance breaks to themed events every night and countless activities every day, there is definitely something for everyone.

I especially enjoyed the circus school and trapeze classes the team led by Tom with Brundo, Bella, Marilou and Albane was absolutely amazing and we both learnt so much!! Their contagious energy and confidence, empowering us to believe in ourselves and give everything a go was extra special, they made us feel safe and almost literally taught us to fly!!

On top of all of this, the incredible G.Os like Joseph from reception create such a happy and fun environment, they often joined us for meals and shared stories about their experiences working for such and awesome company and made us feel so welcome.

We both certainly did not want to leave !!

We had another fantastic Club Med trip to La Plantation D'Albion recently.

First off, we were upgraded to two interconnecting suites which were spacious and had an incredible ocean view. I get the impression that being an Exclusive Collection resort that the majority of the rooms are quite large and well appointed. We appreciated the turndown service as well and the nightly chocolates were a nice touch.

Helene was our contact who was present and responsive to our needs throughout the trip. We really appreciated getting to know her.

Ashley, the Cheffe du Village, we seemed to run into all around the resort whether handing out popsicles, fruit kebabs, or welcoming us to dinner. We were also always seeing Romain and Vichy as well who made us feel like family.

I was happy to see Josias again whom I met at Club Med Bali. His energy is infectious and it is always great to see familiar faces.

The family spent the most time with the flying trapeze crew. Many thanks to Albane, Bella, Brando, Marilou, and Tom for their great instruction and encouragement. We hope to cross paths with you again.

In all, a great family vacation with impactful memories and why we continue to frequent Club Med resorts.

We had a phenomenal 2 week vacation in Albion and would love to return soon. The GO team are incredible, led by CDV Ashley, who sets a high standard for Club Med! Ashley leads with a service culture, nothing is too small for her. She is out handing out ice pops at 4pm to cranky children on the beach, checking in constantly on the GMs and was very thoughtful in celebrating 2 of our family birthdays during the trip. We loved the circus team, particularly Tom the head of circus & Bella. They were incredibly warm & welcoming. Tolga who runs water sports was amazing to us and incredibly welcoming. Juliette at yoga was amazing and so welcoming & kind. Steph at the front desk was amazing and fixed an issue with our club med great member account. Ajit helped organize a doctor to come at short notice to see my daughter and was very kind throughout. The scuba team are fantastic and encouraged us to get advanced open water certification. Ann Sophie at mini club was very kind.
The restaurant team were incredible - so helpful, kind and thoughtful. They made my daughter’s birthday celebration a huge success and made us a wonderful cake for her and for my husband’s birthday. Thank you to everyone - we had an amazing stay.
