The Finolhu Villas Maldives

Our stay at Club Med Finolhu was absolutely awesome from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were warmly welcomed and accompanied throughout our journey to the resort. The hospitality continued right until our departure, making the entire experience feel incredibly seamless and personal.

What truly stood out was the people. The entire team was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.

A special mention to Martins, who was incredibly friendly and made a real effort to help us mingle and connect with other guests. That personal touch made the social experience at the resort even more enjoyable.

Love was another highlight of our stay. With her immense experience in yoga, she helped us with our back pain and taught us some very useful back stretches. Her knowledge, patience, and positive energy were wonderful.

Pui was also incredibly accommodating, especially when we had a special request to train for snorkeling. She was patient, helpful, and made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Her willingness to go the extra mile really stood out to us.

At the restaurant, Shiham was always smiling and ready to provide the best service. His warm attitude and attentiveness made every meal even more enjoyable.

I was also amazed by the diversity of the staff at Club Med Finolhu. Everyone brought their own personality, culture, and expertise, creating a really unique atmosphere throughout the resort.

A particularly interesting experience was meeting Burhan, the Head of Maintenance. He took the time to show us around and explain the behind-the-scenes operations of the resort, including the power generators, wastewater treatment system, and desalination plant that provides drinking water. It was fascinating to see the amount of work and infrastructure required to operate a resort on an island like Finolhu.

And a special mention to Eva, the General Manager, who was incredibly friendly and approachable. She personally welcomed us, was always available, and took the time to join us and greet us at different moments throughout our stay. What impressed us most was that she was there personally to see us off when we departed. That level of personal attention really says a lot about the culture of the resort.

From the airport welcome, to the arrival at the resort, our entire stay, and finally being accompanied all the way through our departure, Club Med Finolhu made us feel genuinely cared for.

The resort is beautiful, the hospitality is exceptional, and the people are what truly make Club Med Finolhu special.

Had an amazing experience at Finolhu. My wife and I honeymooned here at the overwater villa sunset side. Joodh was our butler and he did a great job. We got lucky with the weather in monsoon season, only rained one day. If you want to sit back and relax on your honeymoon this is the place to go. Thank you Club Med Finolhu.

We spent 8 wonderful days at Club Med Finolhu Villas for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived at Malé Airport until the moment we left, everything was simply exceptional.

I can genuinely say that this was the first time I ever felt truly sad to leave a hotel. And I think that says everything about our experience. By the end of our stay, Finolhu no longer felt like a resort—it felt like our own little home in paradise, surrounded by people we had come to know and genuinely enjoy spending time with.

Of course, the island itself is breathtaking. The turquoise water, white-sand beaches, beautiful sunsets, and our overwater villa were everything you imagine when you think of the Maldives. But what made this holiday truly unforgettable was the people. Every single member of the team made us feel welcomed, cared for, and at home. The service was warm and personal without ever feeling forced or overly formal, and that made such a difference.

A very special thank you to **Eva, the resort manager, for creating such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the resort. You can really feel the positive energy and attention to detail across the entire property.

A huge thank you also to **Davut, the bar manager, and James, who made our time at the bar even more enjoyable. Whether it was a cocktail during the day or drinks while watching the sunset, you always made us feel so welcome.

And of course, a very special thank you to our wonderful butler, Boo. From the beginning of our stay until our departure, Boo was always there whenever we needed anything and made everything incredibly easy for us. His kindness, attentiveness, and positive energy were such an important part of our experience.

The food was another highlight of our honeymoon. There was always a great variety, but what impressed us most were the beautifully prepared signature dishes. A big thank you to all of the chefs for the amazing food and to all of the restaurant and service teams who looked after us so well throughout our stay. We would also especially like to thank the **restaurant manager, who was incredibly attentive during our meals and made our final dinner particularly special.

We also had so much fun with the activities. Our jet ski experience, snorkeling tour, and sunset cruise were some of our favorite memories from the trip. Thank you to the entire excursions and water sports team for making those experiences so enjoyable and memorable.

The evenings were just as special. We loved the atmosphere, the entertainment, and especially the DJ and the music, which brought such great energy to the nights. Even simply sitting by the beach, having a drink and listening to the music became one of those little moments we will always remember.

We also want to thank every member of the buggy team. No matter where we needed to go or what time it was, everyone was always friendly, smiling, and ready to help.

What we loved most about Finolhu Villas was the balance. It is luxurious and beautiful, but at the same time it feels relaxed, intimate, and incredibly comfortable. You can have complete peace and privacy in your villa, and then, whenever you want, enjoy activities, music, great food, and the wonderful energy of the team.

Our honeymoon was already going to be a very special trip for us, but the people at Club Med Finolhu Villas turned it into something we will remember for the rest of our lives.

To Eva, Davut, Boo, James, all the chefs, restaurant and bar teams, water sports and excursion teams, the DJ, the buggy team, G.Os, and everyone else who looked after us: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made us feel less like hotel guests and more like friends you were welcoming into your home.

We arrived expecting a beautiful Maldives honeymoon. We left with wonderful memories, new friendships, and a place we already miss.

Our stay at this resort was simply wonderful! We received a very warm welcome and felt completely at home right from the start.

We’d especially like to single out our butler, Joodh, who anticipated our every wish and even organized an exciting behind-the-scenes tour for us. This allowed us to discover the island’s lesser-known corners, which made our vacation even more special.

The entire restaurant team was also simply wonderful—always warm, attentive, and courteous. Everything was truly perfect, and we felt completely taken care of and pampered.

It was a very good time. Needless to say, the activities of club med are rich. Customers living in Finolhu Island can also use the facilities of Kani Island, which is very convenient to go to and from.
Our butler Stella is very attentive and thoughtful. Every morning, she personally comes to supplement the minibar and helps us book a day's activities. Thank you again, Stella, for letting us have a good memory on Feno Island.
